Twins Home Opener

It was a great day for the opener. The Twinkies didn't challenge the Royals undefeated status, however. The bright spot may have been the pitcher brought up from AAA, Trevor May, when the number 2 starter went on the DL. He didn't give up much until some fielding errors put some guys on base then he gave up some hits. Looks like another long year.

Branson, MO

The weather hasn't improved in Branson. The dark cloud is
still following us around.

Today we braked for the Branson Veterans Memorial Museum. They recognize the Medal of Honor winners in the museum including Mike Fitzmaurice who graduated from Iroquois High School.

The museum lists the names of soldiers killed in Vietnam including Bob Whites








                                                 and Ted Voight.

 The museum is ok but I have seen others that are just as good or better that didn't charge admission.
