One of my first stops when we arrived in Eagle Pass, TX was at the First United Methodist Church after I determined it was the only English speaking church in EP. I met Juliet and Pastor Becky and they invited me to join a book discussion on Wednesday mornings on The Good and Beautiful Life. So that's where I have been each Wednesday morning since March 12.The book lends itself well to meaningful discussion. I have gained some insights that I haven't taken the time to think about before, which is the purpose of this kind of gathering.
We have also been attending Sunday morning services at the church. Pastor Becky does a good job.
